AstroSaathi ("we", "us") provides Vedic astrology tools — birth chart (kundli) generation, AI-based chart explanations, daily panchang and rashifal, and kundli matching, all free of charge. This policy explains what data we collect and why.

1. Birth data (date, time, and place of birth)

To generate an accurate kundli, we ask for your (or your family member's) date of birth, time of birth, and birth place. We treat this as sensitive-adjacent personal data:

• It is stored only in our database, encrypted in transit and at rest by our hosting provider.
• It is never sold, shared with advertisers, or used for anything beyond generating your chart, AI explanations, and (for kundli matching) compatibility results.
• We do not log birth details in analytics tools, error trackers, or any system beyond our primary database.
• A chart you generate without logging in is accessible only to someone holding its exact, unguessable link. A chart saved to your account is visible only to you.

2. Account data

If you create an account (email/password or Google sign-in), we store your name, email address, and authentication credentials (passwords are hashed, never stored in plain text). Google sign-in shares only your name, email, and profile photo with us, as permitted by Google's consent screen.

3. AI processing

Chart explanations and chat answers are generated by sending your chart's astrological data (planetary positions, dasha periods, etc. — never your name, exact address, or contact details) to Google's Gemini API for processing. Daily rashifal text is generated in bulk and is not personalized to any individual.

4. No payments, no payment data

Every feature on AstroSaathi — chart generation, AI chat, kundli matching, the PDF report, panchang, and rashifal — is free. We don't process payments and don't collect or store any card, UPI, or bank details.

5. Cookies

We use a session cookie (to keep you logged in) and a language-preference cookie (Hindi/English). We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

6. Your rights

You can delete any chart you own from your dashboard at any time. To delete your account and all associated data, or for any privacy question, contact us at the email below.
